New boots.
Dug out the 16" rims from the shed and now shod with some Toyo AT3's in 205R16.
Stock suspension and they fitted straight on with no mods or spacers. They certainly give the Freelander a better stance, to the point that you have...
Just regarding the heated seat button, my passenger side one wasn't working when I got my Freelander.
I was in the same situation as you, none available anywhere so I tried just taking it apart and giving it a good clean (it was covered in...
Hi, no heated seat switches I'm afraid. If you go to any of the LR spares days there's a good chance of finding them there. Also at the Billing LR show, June 29th & 30th there's normally a stall there that has FL1 parts only (just about) so could...

Just got the three in stock .
I'll check they all work OK tomorrow on both the FL tailgate gate window & D2 sunroofs/windows. If your switch is still out could you compare/check the slots on your window harness connector is the same (or...

I have been a hgv mechanc for nearly 40 years, every day you learn something new, the amount of tools you need is scary.
The amount of skills you need is also scary, fix shti your boos cannot, yes all day long, cut bearing track off stub axles...
Putting together a Greenlane trip for May Bank holiday Mon 27th.
Intending to start about 9am North West of Reading and head down towards Lambourn and onto Wiltshire finishing whenever you like.
Based on the condition of the lanes last year I'm...
Spot the cause - the front bush bolt on the lower offside arm was about 3mm away from the arm face. Took some faffing to get it torqued to 190Nm with tyres on the ground.
AndyFreeLandy - Is it ok to do that, obviously only temporarily. What about the nylock nuts, do you have to put a new one on?
Andy Warren - I’ll get the Meyle one anyway. I want it right and the cost is nothing really. I’ll check the top...
