Series 3 Series 3 exmil converted to rover 3.5 v8 - exhaust system issues

As above they have bought several from them, great quality and good sound, the best manifolds are the early Range Rover ones before de-tox engines these are what I have fitted to my 2A V8 swb

    Td5 into Series

Hi, I'm 3/4 of the way through my rebuild 2a 88 with a 3.5V8 and I was wondering if anybody had fitted a TD5 engine into a series, as I have a rotten D2 with a good engine and I keep looking at it and wondering if it would fit and how much work it be, and if anybody has already done this? Cheers

Hi, I'm posting this for a friend who does not get on with computers. He has a 06 l322 4.2 suspension drops overnight if the battery is connected – with the battery disconnected or flat it stays up. Any ideas would be very helpful, cheers.

Hi, I'm no expert on Diesel but I thought the pressure came from the injector pump, not the lift pump

Lug nuts will not come off

Go to your local tyre/garage and get them to loosen them for you.

    Muddy Fields and tyres

That's all well but they aren't road legal on a Land Rover which means every time you drive in/out you would be changing wheels. One option would be to fit a winch to the front of the Land Rover and then install a permanent ground anchor and winch yourself in each time.

    Muddy Fields and tyres

Towing a trailer through any mud is like dragging an anchor, you might be better of spending some money and improving the access with some type of aggregate/ hardcore and then you can continue to run normal road type tyres and not have to go down the aggressive mud type tyre which will just...

Fitting centre PTO to drive onboard generator

Hi, the rpm would depend on which gear the gearbox is in and I think the original fitment would have had a hand throttle and engine governor. The PTO is a direct drive from the gearbox output shaft before the transfer box you might find the ratio's from Ashcroft but you would need to know the...
