    discovery 2 v8

Thanks everyone for your efforts, I have lots of options and idea's now, I'll probably have a look at the stainless sleeves, some of the reinforced pvc colored hose and get the rocker covers powder coated.

Yeah I like the idea of the stainless overbraid, think I'll get the vernier out and price some up.

No problem, thanks for looking, mine actually looks nice under the bonnet and all the hoses (black) are good, I just fancied jazzing it up a bit.

    discovery 2 v8

Thanks everyone, I had already tried speed factory and can't buy the kit from the web site, I've tried emailing them and phoning but no replies, I did get through to Direnza who make the kit and kits for just about every other land rover but they've discontinued it for some reason, I did search...

Thanks guys, been out and had a quick look and noticed the coolant level was low although it wasn't running hot so I've topped it up and ran it round the block a couple of times then let it idle for about 15 minutes and it didn't cut out, not looked at the codes yet as its now raining but I'll...

    Cuts out when warm

Hi all, my 4.0l disco 2 keeps cutting out when warm, leave it for 20 minutes or so and it'll fire up again, running perfect and no warning lights on, any clues? Had this problem on a motor cycle before and it turned out to be the crank sensor. Cheers Andy

    LPG

P.s, to Biketeacherdave, I see your in south east london also, how do you find actually buying the lpg, I've done google searches and there doesn't seen to be many suppliers left now that BP have stopped selling it?

    LPG

Mmm, not sure about a diy install, I'm ok with mechanical but don't like electrical and after reading the info in the link you sent the setup sounds like it could be quite complicated.

    LPG

Hi all, thanks for the info, not sure what I'm going to do now, I had a range rover on lpg previously that didn't effect the insurance but don't like the sound of what norseman said, I'll have to think about it.

Hi all, I'm looking to have an LPG conversion on my discovery 2, 4.0L, does anyone have any advise/info on reliable installers, price etc, anything really, I live in south London so London or the south east area would be good. Thanks Andy
