Okay so here what the problem was, yesterday was a very cold day, some how it froze the mechanism so it didnt recognize the key had unlocked it. Today was warmer, and it thawed out, so I unlocked it, and it started right up.

Okay I have a parts RR (1996) Can I use the microswitch from that? And is it the whole door lock mechanism?

Its not super locked, I can still unlock all the doors except the Right rear door.

Sorry, I thought their might be more people over here on here too. I tried the EKA code, but couldnt get it to acknowledge the code. 1515? isnt it? I dont get lights on the dash saying anything.

So the battery was disconnected on my Range Rover, then reconnected. The keyless entry didnt work when I pushed it, and when I unlocked it and opened the door the alarm went off, so I tried to turn it on, and it said the engine is disabled. I cant figure out how to get it unarmed. Its a 1995...

It was an HSE, I missed out on it

Can this be done? I have a 1996 Range Rover 4.0 with EAS, and the engine went bad, and I found a 1999 Rover with the 4.6 but doesnt have the EAS, is it possible to move it over from the 96? Sorry if this has been posted, I can only seem to find people trying go from EAS to Coil when I search it.

Okay I'll just pull the engine tomorrow, is their anything special about pulling a Rovers engine? I'm used to American cars.

Do you have to pull the engine to get the crankshaft out, the rover ran out of oil, and didn't tell me. So it has a knock now, any special tricks? It's a 1996 P38.

No the temperature just stayed the same till it broke down. And yes I can, do you want me to just repost this?
