Td5? I had to cut the head of a ring spanner and then weld a cut down socket so I could put an extension bar up past the fuel rank to undo the nut.
Maybe jack the chassis up so the axle is lower, if that makes sense (probably not)
You will need...
I wonder if it depends on what you want to do. If you have a base model then there will be less systems to diagnose.
We don't have a Nanocom but it seems like it covers just about everything you would need.
Zenith carbs are prone to warping but can be sanded flat again I do believe.
Webber carb was £120 at the time so wasn't worth faffing around, sold the worn out Zenith for rebuild.

Pretty sure it's on one of TrailerFitters 200tdi videos.
Spent a hateful day welding the chassis on the Ninety, another hateful day to look forward to tomorrow.
Why is it when welding on a bit of scrap metal you get a lovely weld, get underneath with your head wedged between propshaft and exhaust and...

I am thinking about looking into this lot for the Ninety when the funds are in place.
The price is competitive for a Defender, sure they could qoute for a D2.
I have no experience of their work though.
