    110 Sports Box / Drawer

https://ibb.co/L0pKZnZ https://ibb.co/tLwBvt2 https://ibb.co/zGpYGKK Having seen the outrageous prices for these things, I've scribbled my own together and am planning to send drawings to the laser cutters next week. Wouldn't be too difficult to have them make up more than just my set. Can...

    Shooting / Observation Hatch

Hi Dom, Try Masai, they used to do a proper shooting hatch for the rear, not sure if it still exists, but here's a link to their 'windows' page: https://www.masai4x4.com/defender/shooting-hatch-wide-opening-roof-window/Windows-c821930 it would require only minor mods to the roof lining, which...

    Load area mats

If you want the raised lip, just buy 'stable mat' and aluminium angle, cut the angle to length and rivet with big washers -it'll catch and contain the crud, but you can pull it out to pressure wash. Alm.

    2 questions

Not expensive, but a pig to change because of access. Be particularly careful with fitting the new one when it comes to routing the fuel line!!!!!!!! There should be a small cut away for where the fuel hoses sit. If it's this weathered underneath, check the seatbelt mountings if you have the...

    1998 300 tdi Chassis swap

Fuel tanks ok, replaced it a year ago. Turns out there was the usual scruff rust between cradle and tank. I've wire brushed, primed and used marine paint. I'll stick a thin layer of SBR between tank and cradle to fix the built-in ****e "catching" design. I did think about the bulkhead, but it's...

    1998 300 tdi Chassis swap

Been a while since I posted, so thought I'd share some photos of the 1st leg of work on my 110 chassis swap, rebuild, repair and spray job. Myself plus old man did this over the course of 2.5 days; we're waitng on a Richards Chassis to come next week, and we'll pick up another 2 or 3 days work...

    Bench seats/insurance warning

That settles it. Ill remove the bench seats and have the kids sit in the middle of the tub un-restrained. Problem solved! Alm. On a serious note, theres a shed load of data and "experienced G-shock vs. Death" graphs out there dating back to the 50's and 60's when Col John Stapp had a hard on...

    James's rebuild thread

As a temporary fix, you could use stove seal rope (ceramic braid) to tie it off :) This thread is great James, well done getting the Landy back together and looking proper smart. Looking forward to seeing the paint get finished off. Alm.

    Range Rover Sport

If I understand correctly, braking under wet weather conditions is all about: Vehicle mass (and distribution thereof), velocity, contact surfaces, i.e. tyres and road. And to a certain degree, the efficiency of brake response and brake balance. The engine or the fact that it is 4WD has no real...
