Theres only 2 plug ins on back of unit all wiring seems secure but why no sound at all thought even with loose wires would get some sound

As in the title cd player works fine single disc player.When I switch to radio everything works controls on s/wheel, seeks channels but absolutely no sound not even static,anyone got an idea Landrover say they have never heard of a problem like this
