Has anyone had any experience repairing corrosion to the inner front wheel arches on disco 2s? have searched for replacements but come up short.
Any thoughts / comments would be greatly received.
Also has any changed the power steering box if so how did you bleed the system (if you need to?)

v reg td5 180000 miles.
between 1900 and 2500 rpm i get an odd noise. sounds like blowing over the top of an empty bottle.
its not there up to 1900 and stops or becomes inaudible after 2500.
any thoughts.

Do the air springs on a D2 have to work over time if you are towing a heavy weight? (900kg trailer + horses... 2000kg total for arguments sake)
If so are there any precautions I should take in regards to the compressor / air bags ect.

I had a very simliar problem not to long ago.
Turned out to be water damage in the fuse box. Maybe worth a check

Try colin white services in street. They allways seem to have what i'm after but thats usually disco 2 stuff.

All they said it that it wouldn't stay on the road. I wouldn't split tyres left and right this way but front to rear i didn't see the prob.

yeah same size both axles 255 65 r16.
would the speed rating make any difference?

Had some uneven wear in the inside of each front tyre and was starting to be on the bald side. Times are hard and I couldn't afford A/T's all the way round which is what I would prefer. My back tyres are road based as were my fronts. They still have...

turns out water damaged fuse box not sending any signals to bcu. all fixed. now just to find the leak. sunroof drains look ok. lots of water in each corner above the a pillars tho.

Anyone got any tips for unlocking the passenger side door when the central locking is stuck on. this would a lot easier if i wasn't lying up side down with with my head in the footwell and legs in the air.
