    Hi Grumpy. I should say it only whirrs and doesn't engage whilst I'm turning the key. The stopping part when I let go I'm aware of ☺

    Hi all. After lots of issues with the starter on the freelander I've finally changed it. Now after fitting and trying to fire her up it only whirrs for as long as I hold the key. Any ideas? Many thanks Alex
