    Sedimenter Part WJF000010 ???

Good evening freelander folk, Started to replace my pump and filler this eve only to run into trouble before I even started: attempted to open the sedimenter to release water, was badly stuck closed, so much so the brittle cap broke off when using a pliers to open. Looking to replace it but...

    Rear door wheel cover

Thanks, the LR part looks the business but not sure if it’ll properly fit an 18” wheel, the construction is flexible but is there enough flex for an inch! Best, A

    Rear door wheel cover

Hi all, Just checking if part number STC7984 (pictured) would fit an 18” alloy wheel (235/50 R18)? The part indicates 17” so if anyone has one or knows if would fit next size up would be much appreciated. Many thanks, Anthony

A loose bolt on CAM sensor

Yeah that’s the one. Are the silicon are better than standard - the bright colour certainly would show up a leak very quickly. Good Idea, how did you secure the piece of old tube on top of the screw between other tube? Cheers, A

A loose bolt on CAM sensor

Hi Artic, what’s the best way to cushion the impact of the left hand screw just under the turbo cooler hose (viewing from from vehicle) as is cutting into tube wall and likely to create a hole if not avoided? Best, Anthony

A loose bolt on CAM sensor

Thanks Nodge, I used 5w40! Fully synthetic but still showing oil light flickering when engine heats during an hour driving, checked oil level is still very black… Is there a drip tray that can be removed under engine to clean out very old oil? It only took just over 5l oil was expecting 6.7L… I...

Going to change out oil today - just double checking that 5W 40 FULLY synthetic is the best given already at 120k miles and to orient bearings etc (thanks Nodge)? Best, Anthony

A loose bolt on CAM sensor

Thanks gents, some great photos and advice. I cleaned out the intake manifold, was caked up bad, had to shove screwdriver through 2 ports to break it free, then filled with mr muscle oven cleaner and flushed through with water three times until it ran clear. Replaced the egr valve, connected...

A loose bolt on CAM sensor

Thanks Andy, just checking - that’s connecting a pipe to the small hose connector which normally connects back to the Egr solenoid?

A loose bolt on CAM sensor

Finally got new injector in to replace faulty one, then had to take all out again as wouldn’t start… because didn’t fix the copper washers in place with ‘ceramic grease’. Now I’ve done that, starts no problem at all… except big puff of white smoke near the EGR, after revs the hose there is...
