A little help gents. So I've replaced the bushes top and bottom on my front shock. All went smooth untill the last nut. How do you get the last bottom nut back on. I'm about 3mm short for the nut to pick up the thread due to the new bushes. I've tried putting in hot water, jacking the car...

Gents, is there any suggestions for what type of paint to use on coil springs, I've got to do a bush change on the front of the car and though whilst i'm there i might as well tidy them up as looking rusty even though only a few years old. I've search and read just about everything i can find...
