    I have been offered a MGF 1.8 16v engine with only 30'000 miles. Comes with a 60 Day warranty as well for £300. All I need to know is will it definitely fit. Cheers, Adam.

    I don't want to change the type of engine, I just want to replace it with another 1.8 16v. It seems to be easier to get hold of an MGF engine than a Freelander one, hence my question. There are lots of people selling MGF engines and advertising them as Freelander engines, but I don't want to...

    Hi, freelander 1.8 16v engine has blown. I have been told that the engine from a 1.8 16v MGF will fit, is this true? what will I need to change over from the freelander engine, ie sump? inlet? ect Thanks in advance.
