It’s the power steering drive belt that keeps going slack over a period of time. It’s new belt which is correct width etc.
after a week or so I have to readjust the pulley below to get more tension.
-
Any advise on keeping it tight more than a week??
-
Yes. Sorry forgot to put that

Hi all again.. a quick one about my power steering.. I seem to constantly have to readjust the pulley to tighten it as over a few weeks it slackens.. is there anything I can do to stop this.. it’s fine.. just annoying. Thanks in advance

Took the bulb out of the dash.. cured! Will get a earth leakage cable
-
Turn signal on dash is really faint even if the knob is turned up or down
-
Right I’ve changed the relay and the hazard switch.. both indicators and hazard are working but when indicating in either direction the other indicator ‘ghosts’ the other side by dimly blinking.. do I need an earth leakage cable? Thanks
-
it’s not an adjustable relay.. I’ve got one coming today.

Hi. I’ve changed the fuse for the hazards.. they are working now.. indicators still not.. no lights on dash either. Thanks
-
Hi all. I’m hoping someone can help..
I have installed new LED lights and everything was fine until I installed the side marker indicators. Now all indicators and hazards have stopped working including the dash light and clicker. All fuses are fine, hazard switch looks ok no obvious burn out...

Hi. Following on from the above. Just been having more of a look and there is a lot of play in the steering column down to the power steering pump.. see picture. Is this normal? A good half turn each way by hand can be achieved. Thanks
-
How much play should there be in the lower ball joint? If it’s not that are there any other obvious things I should look for with the steering? Thanks again

It seems to be excessive play from the joint with the split pin
