Ah cool, would be interested to see any photos you have of your current ones you've made? I figured maybe some 5mm bar bent to the shape of the light, then flattened or welded to some flat bar to go under the bonnet and under the bottom of the light.

Hi Neilly, yes I have a D2 and I was hoping if still available the D1 light guards may fit or be adaptable.
I agree, light bulb changes would be difficult with a welded guard...maybe bolting something on would be the best way. I'll have a look at Stowe and see what they offer.

Thanks Spong. I have seen those in photos, but I did hear about bolt croppers being an "easy" method to stop them. I presume being hardened steel would make that method harder and also they would at least stop the opportunist. I guess that is kind of what I am after, just something to stop the...
