It took a bit of fiddling to know what gear it was in but I’ve since been told the wheel on the inside is broken so I’ve just ordered a second hand one.
So my 1995 P38 auto 4.0 would take notions going from P to D/R etc where it wouldn’t know what gear it was in and generate a gearbox fault. Cycling the gears and then a restart would always clear it but I figured I’d try and fix it today to tick...
