Do i need this resistor on my coil?
OK.thanks.did a lot of reading..and it's like turboman mentioned- an 87efi needs no ballasted coil. After some measurements following the Haynes book..etc..I ordered a new ngk 48339 coil that's made for operating at 12v. Thanks a lot guys -

hello out there. Today my ordered topran 300065 ignition coil arrived. (ordered by comparison number) But there's a big resistor(1.6ohms) added to the package and I'm not sure if I need to have this one mounted on the coil Vehicle that It was ordered for is a 87efi flapper thats original coil...
