i thought old thread was deleted :/ and i didnt realise cruise control wasnt working til today i replaced a transducer but still not working the only time worked was i reversed off the drive with a clunk and it worked but not for long

ive replaced my pulleys and belt alternator and still had annoying noise been told today poss the viscous fan mount aggghhhh another thing in my list of problems

think i ve found the squeal viscous fan

its a pain in the rear unlocking and locking sum time u end up walking round round the car or if u in it tryin to start waveing the keys every where cant start by putting the keys in ign and pressing button as just dosent seem to respond half the time

no got my brother to check that ,thats 1 panel boot window driver side the whole car is driving me to getting a jeep at this rate i feel a total idiot sat there trin to start if i suppose no risk of it gettin stolen lol

im not sure if this is like the prob im having :( i cant seem to unlock the car very easily by remote and if i dont get key in quick enuff then hv to try and lock and unlock again ive sat in the car and stood out side it for 30 odd minutes before just so i can get in and drive

hi stupidly i sold my 4.6 and went for a 1997/98 4.0 when i first got everything was fine but having issues no firstly when i got speedo worked then stopped everything else on cluster works i reversed off the drive 1 day was a bit of a clunk and speedo worked again so no risk of speeding fine...

try RANGEROVERS.NET thats how i managed hope this helps :)

its frustrating it took me 3 attempts my keys wouldnt work then they worked then eventually fired up thank god !!!!

I had the same and finally started today by finding sum usefull info this may be worth a try ...........open the door and bonnet disconnect the battery (making sure door remains open at all times ) when battery disconnected insert key in to ign to position 2 reconnect battery and start...
