Hi Lucan, Ive got a toad immobiliser in my TD5 too, i have used Spares in the past for replacement fobs I have broken. If its the type i have though, you need a working fob handy to set a new one up to the immobiliser, with a process of turning the ignition on and off in a sequence.

Thats what I thought, Maybe another trip to the dealership is in order to price up the seats, and also try and track down a tdci station wagon to investigate, although my 2 local dealerships both have hardtops as their showroom vehicles :doh:!!

Yeah but the seats lock and fold like the exmoor ones. so do they just rely on just the fixings though the wheel arches then? i guess with substantial strengthening plates on the other side

I see, the top mount is the same as a genuine seat then, its just the clasp thats different between the two. On another note why are genuine parts cheaper than the ones exmoor sell?....and why do people buy these from exmoor instead of going for genuine parts?

I put 30psi in the rear and 28psi in the front into my bfg muds 265 75 r16, if this helps 'chris mack', and they handled fine on the road at this pressure

I put my spare wheel on the bulkhead behind the seats using the (now redundant) spare wheel bracket off the back door. Drill a few holes... put in the bolts and hey presto, just mount the tyre on it.

The clutch on my 90 used to squeak up where it pivots, especially when it was damp outside. I cured it with WD40 squirted with the long nozzle all over the pivot area above the spring which stops the sqeak for about 3 months and then it needs doing again

I too have BFGoodrich 265/75 r16 MUD terrains and i would not trade them in for any other tyre on the market!!!! Larger sizes however will mean the speedo is slightly off, and cornering at high speeds is a little scary sometimes

Simple test. Have you looked at the fuses? My no. 12 fuse on my ninety blew and i had similar light problems. Not 100% sure about if you change the bulbs, and not sure if that wouldnt make it illegal for road use. Any suggestions anyone else?

When you push the wiper switch down on my 200tdi, for intermitant, you get slow. When you push it up (from off) you also get slow. When you push it up to the top, you get very fast. In any of the positions, when you turn them off they dont reset. Do I need a new switch stalk, new wiper...
