My caravan weighs about 2100kg fully loaded and i tow it with a 1800 xei..it pulls it a treat...only problem is it loves to sit at 55mph....it will tow faster but as soon as you look down its back at 55 again...still it sways abit at 65mph anyway,so im not complaining.

EBAY is the place to look for all wooden trims.

Hi..forget trying to fix the cables...just invest in a new window mech complete...its worth it (£90) and they are easy to install yourself,,took me about 35mins from start to finnish..and the window didnt need to come out either as the instruction CD said!.

Ive just came back from a loverly weekend away with my partner and the caravan...on the way back it developed a ticking noise that drove me round the bend....the ticking was a stone lodged in the tyre tread...its out now and ticking has gone..just goes to show ...never take anything for granted!!!!.

Wish i knew too..there seems to be a tremendous lack of auto freelanders around..they make them in all the other landrovers but not the freelander!...the car would be much nicer with an auto box...and so much more luxurious!good luck if you should find one.
