thanks guys i totally get it now ! i had this 90 for 4 years now other than general servicing never had any probs at all even though its done 170 + k . i ordered the new loom should be here today! the misfire is getting worse starting after about 2 mins driving & dont clear now when turned off...

Hi there my td5 after driving for 10 mins or so develops a misfire ! but if i switch off then back on its fine for a while again ! its showing no engine faults on the diagnostic ! any ideas would be appreciated :)

could be a wheel bearing the brake pedal travel could be related to that

bit of a long shot but it happend to me once ! a baffel in the silencer broke off & blocked the exit hole inside the silencer & caused a simlar problem. Worth a check !

even though the alt light is going out you need to check it ! with the engine running should read about 14 volts if its 12 or less alt is nakkered my guess is its that

you dont say what engine ! but if its turbo diesel is it kicking out black smoke when towing or labouring it as it could be a hole / crack in the turbo pipe or intercooler damaged

may not be related to the work youve done have you checked the switch that turns off the light on the hand brake lever
