My 6'5" friend had to sell his left-hand drive 101 because he couldn't fit his knee anywhere when he wasn't using it on the clutch! He doesn't have the same issue with a RHD!

I'm still confused by you talking about the hand throttle :)
Presumably when they fitted the Weber the PO removed the original choke cable that's mounted to the steering lock. They drilled a hole in the bulkhead and fitted a new choke cable and knob there. I'm pretty sure this would just have...

- Remove the aftermarket choke from the bulkhead
- Re-instate the original choke on the steering column (it's built into the steering lock/ignition barrel)
No. It's a choke :)

I've got an early 1972 station wagon (A suffix) that needs the door tops replacing. The door tops in there at the moment have the S2 style window lock at the top and the square lower window locks are blanked off.
I'm trying to figure out what would have been there originally. I spotted that the...

Quick intro email for me. New to the forum and have just bought a 1972 Series 3 109 station wagon after a decade or so of not having owned a Landy.
I've owned a couple of Series 3 88s, including the one I learnt to drive in. Had an 80" for a bit, which I regret selling now! Also owned an Series...
