its a plastic cover replaced like for like

the wiring on mine is all over the place with some wires that look like they should be connected but are not have you got a digram by any chance or even a picture i belivei have power going there as the old coil got hot very hot changed it for a new one tom

hello i have a problem with my coil as well did you get any where tom

i have got fuel but no spark :confused: the batt is good can i put power straight onto the coil rather than going though the ignition system so that i can take this out of the issue will the starter still work if i do this are there wiring diagrams available for the v8s sorry for all the...

this coil is what i have replaced i will check this tommorow

is this what goes into the dizzy cap

im near enough i travel a lot due to work

as you look at the engine bay on the right hand side silver cylinder 12v goes in then thick cable goes into top of dizzy cap to give it power

capasator (goes into top of the dizzy cap)

ive got fuel no spark replaced a load of bits (old stuff any way) sparks ht leads dizzy dizzy spinner
