Soz for late reply , yes i got the whole lot of him . it made doing the conversion a shed load easyer and quicker as its a case of straight fit ( you have to cut the 140 degree pipe tho ) and it all lines up really well :) . Only thing to do is bash the N/S inner wing out to make more room...

Gratch was right , its a cyclone - larger particals of dirt and crap get thrown out to the insideof the housing due to centrifugal force and then drop down to the bottom of the air filter housing . An air filter will draw air uniformaly across the whole filter medium , unless half of its blocked...

This is mine 2ltr Frontara double fan , cut between the 2 fans with 3 rivets in the fan housing facing the floor that slot into the the cowling channel at the bottom of the rad . The sides just clip into the folds of the rad :) + one bracket that you can see on the top right , wired up dead...

ah right , discos are 3 piece just assumed it was them that where like it . I found a cone section of steel at work that i cut down to just the right size to press them out all the way , and back in again . This is all good if you got access to a press .....

You must have a disco then , I made myself a press adaptor when I did mine 2 weeks ago made life a lot easyer , but anyway just keep attacking them as they can be gits to do .

Get a hacksaw and feed the blade through the bush and cut a line through it ( but not cutting the rod ) then chessel the rest out :) .

Or oil cooler in the rad fooked .

Im thinking prop slider as you say it does it on suspension loads/unloads , a siezed slider would in relation try to push the axle away from the tranny box and would cause huge vibration , but on flat road it would be smooth running

have you tryed changing the front wheels to the back and tryed again ?

If your doing that dont forget to undo the rear brake hose T piece mount on the axle ( 10 mm )( not the brake lines , you'll figure it out when u get under there :D ). Otherwise you'll over stretch your brake hose ( axle will hang on it ) .
