That sounds to heavy for your 110 to pull plus extra weight and would kill it off road. You need a bigger tow vehicle or a smaller trailer/caravan.

Unbolt the ring of bolts at the swivel and axle tube and then pull the whole lot off. Then change large seal fit new axle gasket and bolt back on .

Take cover off back of t box and check splines and do in gear running check ,very dangerous to do on your own.:eek:

That's nice, but you have not done what I said to do in my first reply. Taking out the centre console was pointless , do the in gear look under test

Remove cover on back of t box and look at the output shaft adapter and t gear. They can suffer from the splines wearing away.

Looks like the seam where the chassis is made and it's rusting from the in side out. Hit it and weld it

If it's leaking from that point it's just a unscrewing job and seal with instant gasket and screw up, but do it quickly as the gearbox oil will run out. :)

Hit it with a big hammer until the rust falls out, then weld it up with some thick steel ,like a old central heating oil tank cut in to strips.

Keep on driving :D It won't break :)

Pull out the half shafts, it's really easy and if good leave them out as you will be removing the diff next.
