Considering buying this bad boy: Land Rover, 90 Hardtop RHD Winterized, #41649 - MOD Sales, Military Vehicles & Used Ex MOD Land Rovers for Sale

Am I mental?
Will it bankrupt me?
Will it suddenly lock up on the A36 and have me hurtling into a ditch?

Or is it actually a gem and I've been foolish to share it because one of you knowledgeable folk will have already bought it in cash by the time I view?

I await your answers with baited breath.

I'm Oli btw and more used to climbing forums.

why would you want a winterized one...? over the standard one at half the price...

Or is it actually a gem and I've been foolish to share it because one of you knowledgeable folk will have already bought it in cash by the time I view?
It will still be there when you go and look 'cos it's stupid money

Many thanks for all your feedback Guys.

Are there any places that are particularly good for finding stuff at reasonable prices?

I'm not a great mechanic by any means yet - buying a landy is part of a plan to become slightly more knowledgeable about fixing stuff.

Try the defender center at Stourbridge, they sell all MOD and ex utility landrovers, my 90 were £3k, ex MOD , ready to go, has done me well for the last 4 years or 5 years, you can get a lot of landrover for £3-4k,
