the pipe from water pump to rad keeps blowing up twice its size and a tiny split in it now were water is pi**ing out, any ideas?

sounds like a blocked rad. or thermostat. or Head gasket has gone,
Flush rad, remove and test thermostat (drop in boiling water it should open) go to garage and have a sniff test done.
There you go now you know anorl.

its pressurising then? in that case stick new hose on it and check the rad and thermostat and that waters circulating and hope that its ok
