Hi All,

Im looking at buying a mates series 2 project with the insight at changing the 2.25 for a 3.5 rover v8. can anyone give me some advice it would be much appreciated! and also I did once have a 3.5 v8 lightweight, and i was wondering if i can turn a standard series 2 into a lightweight?

You know a lightweight is prob the heaviest. series 2 looks nicer then lightweight i recon. I think it would be abit of a job getting the engine and gearbox mounted correctly, one for the elders to answer really.

You will need and adaptor plate to mate V8 to Series box. Also some foot wheel mods, engine mounts, exhaust blah blah blah.

Lwt chassis and body work is narrower than the std Series.
