Afternoon all, HELP!!!!!!

I have a 2000 TD5 with an auto box that has an issue, when she cold she does not like selecting third gear under load or going up hill (so also under load), when cold I can nurse her till she warm then the problem disappears!

change the oil and ensure its filled correct , its normal for it not to lock up till its warm

+1 and do the filter as well. Follow the correct filling proceedure.

but the problem has only just started happening.......

if oils blackish youve a clutch pack issue ,if not the change may well help it
