Hi,

I'm putting some shiny rock sliders on my truck and thought it would be an easy job to take of my oem side steps. I've heard different and due to limited time and light (I have to do it on the side of the street) I was wondering how long it takes and if there are any good intructions anywhere? Found some but they are not brilliant.

It would take longer to read instructions on removal of the side steps and their brackets, if there was such a thing, which I doubt, there are instructions for the fitting D2 side steps on LRs site.
There is only two brackets per side it just nuts and bolts for fitting or removal.

The mountings / fastenings are usually very rusted - so you may well end up grinding / cutting them off.

I've yet to find a bolt on my car that does contain 95% rust
