been reading up on here about fitting 200tdi into s3 and found it a great starting point to my possible next project, got a few questions that i cant seem to find a definetive answer to,
1, do the chassis mounts for the engine and box need to be moved
2. is the 2,2a gearbox stronger than the 3 gearbox
3, is it the standard props that you use from your series?
4, whats idea of changing from standard series differential to discovery ones< is it for strength or ratio or both and do the half shafts from the series go in to disco diff?
5, is the 200tdi intercooler mounted upside down the best solution to the intercooler problem
im also planning to put parabolics with pro comp +2 on it at the same time as conversion as this seems to be common also im guessing its for better handling over existing springs, can anyone recomend a good spring manufacturer as there seems to be a few companys
