Hey guys,

Anyone have any suggestions for mobile phone windscreen mounts?

Ive tried 4 different ones and they all suck. Just fall off with the slightest bump! Nearly lost my phone once!

Dont want anything that screws into the dash as ive just tarted it up and want to keep in nice, for as long as possible...

The only thing that stays on my windscreen 95% of the time is my TomTom..

I've got a cheapo one from halfords for using the Ipod to film laning trips, & another cheapo one from the local car shop for mounting the phone on for navigating. Make sure the inside of your windscreen is clean, the only time I had a problem with one of them falling off, it was fixed by giving the inside of the windscreen a good clean and they've been on some very rough routes.

JML doesnt seem to have great reviews! Got to hold up a Galaxy S5 + Otterbox.

The Halfords ones actually look alright...

+1 for the Halfords PDA holders , I have one after loosing part of my satnav mount

that's heavy too as my satnav is a few years old and is quite big

never had much of a problem with my Halfords holder

I have a couple of cheapo's that hold tablet computers for GPS etc. Never had a problem with them coming off once I mastered the technique for operating the suction cup mechanism.

Clean the winscreen properly first,
I got a cheepo chinese one for my phone, and same for my 7" tablet, leave em on all the time, and not fallen off yet.

The inside of my wimdscreen is usually spotless, my TomTom rarely falls but all the ones ive bought have been garbage.

Think i shall give the halfords one a go...

Before I had a piece of velcro on my dash and my phone!

AA do one the the front is like a sticky gel but not sticky grips my phone solid and sticks to the screen well
9 quid from a motorway service station

Ram Mount X Grip for me. Really flexible and I cant pull the mount off the window with one hand and giving it a good pull.
