My replacement springs arrived today, then 10 minutes later the phone rang and ive got a checkin for the morning, bummer so they wont get fitted b4 xmas, so much for haveing plans lol.
Next time perhaps, I wonder if id be allowed to have shed time on the 25th lol I think that would be a good idea lol:doh:

:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh: Got home today at lunchtime, said hello to the other half, and then thought YES landy time!!!!!!!!!! lets start on the springs, got everything in place jacked up and supported on axlestands just going to start cutting the bolts........... and the phone rang a check in for the morning, will I ever get this old girl done?

RE "Checkin" Check in, its the term used by the offshore mob for the time we have to be at the Heliports for to get checked in for our flights

And there was me thinking you were aircraft cabin crew! Springs is a fun job, especially if you're replacing the chassis bush as well. I hope you've got new bolts, pins and shackles too 'cos you'll probably have to cut the old ones off. Lots of threads on here about spring and bush replacement...
