You did say that but I hoped anyway for a cheaper fix. I will be taking the FIP off the donor anyway and start getting the timing kit together. The lift pump was fine, 180 ml in 10 seconds.
I was messing about earlier and thought I would try that powerbox for a laugh.. No effect on the take off but it making a huge difference once the turbo kicks in, it has a very noticeable increase in power... I was shocked... Any potential issues you can see with me leaving that on?
As I was fitting it I realised that it had previously had a same or similar unit on, the patch lead to the FIP was still there but the powerbox wires had been cut as had the wire connected to the map sensor....
