Hi, I'm thinking of buying my first landy & im looking at a freelander td4 sport 3dr 2005, can anyone give me advice on:
1. Things to look for when buying
2. Anything to help maintain it etc

You're probably wondering why no one has answered your topic. Perhaps because the questions you ask have been replied over and over again :deadhorse: Its best to do a search before posting - there are lots of good information here.

Anyway, when buying a freelander, the TD4 is the one to go for Like any other it has its pros and cons.

Pros are the cons wont nick em

Sport has extra's fitted as standard like heated screen which is very nice unless you've got great long arms!

3 doors are cool, but can mist up a bit, possible leak from hard/soft top and the targa sunroof can drip with the condensation at winter, but if you don't mind that you can whip the top off in summer but how likely is that. 5 door model's are nicer inside 2. Saying that I bought the 3 door so what the hell do I know haha!
