im wanting defender doors, full dash and steering wheel will this fit in my 1979 3 series land rover 88??

just change the vin plate and reg plates thats all ebayers do

pardon??

im wanting to change these as ive just bought it and the dash is a half cut up pile of crap bodged rogether with silicone, the doors are rotton and stearing wheel is from a old range rover and its huge

so will the defender stuff fit as it looks better than the old 88 stuff

The doors will fit not sure of the rest. Ignore those idiots above they can't read.

He says it's a '79. Tax exemption stops at '72 so why would he be fiddling it?

as above - doors should fit.
steering wheel, most will fit but you will need to find the right boss for it.
dash i have no idea.

cheers lads doors was the main thing might just make a dash myself and cover it in leather trim.

Tax exemption is pre 1st Jan 1973. So, it sounds like he is just asking if some parts will fit... Don't be so quick to attack!

alot is interchangable front wings ,bulkhead ,seat box ,doors we made a series with 5 speed box def floor pltes seat box ,bulkhead etc with series doors outer wing def inner etc

My latest series 3 has one defender door bottom.Defender bulkhead & transmission tunnel, so a lot off parts will fit

Oh and just remembered Defender seat-box as-well.
