blimey what a pain in the ass,been trying to sort a rad for my td 90 the one with oil coller pipes..everytime i order one they ring back and say ooh sorry no we havent got one..landrover would quite happily fleese me for £500 for one..think ive tracked one down but its gonna still cost me £210

the 1st mail order firm quoted me £125 plus vat
anyone know where to get one??

How about getting your old one recored? It normally only costs about£100.
 
its been soaking for 3 days and is still full of **** and mud,plus the garage need to move the motor so need to sort one asap,cant hang around for rads to be sent away and sorted and sent back

Find a place local and take it in yourself. You should be able to get it done within 24 hours (sometimes same day). I used arrow radiators in bristol for the last one I needed.

not these days it dunt now the price of copper has gone up, bloke who i used to use in stoke normally charged no more than £80 even for big jag rads, last one i got a price for was over £200

Try your local SERCK intertruck, they wanted 115 + VAT to recore my rad and its not a normal LR rad, it has a double core.
 
the cooling system is desigend to cool in extreme desert envirmonents while standing still driving a genny or something. I know of several engines that used to have oil coolers that now don't and are fine. As long as you aint going to the desert etc driving machinery while not moving. :)
