I don't see the brake switch in the circuit for the pump.Have we ruled out the brake switch? That has 2 contacts from memory and the second one needs to work to pull the power assist in?

Fitted second hand pump as soon as I turned ignition on I can hear it running . Break peddle still the same and all three warning lights still on. What's my next step. Thanks. P.S.. try and keep it easyDon't give up so easily. Two duff switches seems unlikely, have you checked that power is getting to the switch as I suggested? Have you checked continuity at the switch? Never a good idea to buy parts until you really know what the fault is, the fault may well be elsewhere.

Followed brake bleeding procedure on you tube with wifey on the peddle all lights out and just to make my day perfect I put car in for mot just to check and find out what other gremlins awaited , and blow me she passed ,Happy Days
