I'm here in Zambia with a BCU problem. I brought a secondhand BCU back from the UK with me and the local mechanic is telling me that the one I brought is for a manual vehicle and mine is automatic.

Is this right? I've done a bit a research online and can't see any mention of different BCUs for automatic and manual models.

PS: My vehicle is a 2003/4 Discovery 2 Td5 automatic
