Keep getting a message " check side light" / "check front light"

Have checked and everything looks OK.

Is there a way of re setting the comuter s othis stops coming up?

It used to happen on mine, i think it was a dodgy/lose connection, in the end i puled the plugs out, and sprayed them with an electrical conductor spray that cleans and lubes them (don't know if you can use WD40, it doesn't look smell or feel the same) and it hasn't happened since

no you can't use WD40 - it's an insulator.

use Elecrtical Contact cleaner, re-make the connection, check it works OK, then smear it with a little vaseline.
