Hi there all...
I have a Discovery 3 with a suspension issue; this is the background and what I've done thus far
Issue:
- about a month ago I was driving, and the suspension gave me an error (amber light on dash - bottom left - looks like a car with arrows), the suspension dropped, and I was forced to drive back to my house in limp mode.
- I suspected it was 1 of 2 things / 1st was the compressor itself as it had been making some noise over the last few weeks. 2nd was the rear shocks, i had not yet replaced them, as had replace the front about a year ago.
What I did:
- first started and replaced both rear shocks
- replaced the pump (the pump was an AMK) at the time did not know there were different options. Replaced it with a Dunlop pump, which looks a splitting image to the AMK. Believe that the Dunlop pumps the air on the opposite hole to the AMK? But might be wrong, still looking into that. - However, I rerouted the air pipes so that the direction of flow is correct
- noticed that the was a small hole in one of the pipes, replaced that.
AT THIS STAGE NO JOY!
- then replaced valves (rear and front)
- checked the height sensors
WHAT WAS HAPPENING WAS
I would start the car, compressor would run, light on dash (which is now red) comes on, compressor goes off
This warning Light goes RED, then Pump stops pumping...
- checked all computer box, (integrated Transfer Case 7H42-7H417-AC) the one behind the battery (replaced it)
- Check the computer box, the one under the driver's side dash, (Air Suspension AH42-14D392-AB) (side wall) (replaced it)
- tried another relay (have not purchased a new one yet (doing that today)
- replaced the rear diff motor - and had it calibrated
-Checked all Fuses
STILL NO JOY
Is there anyone that has had a similar issue that can assist, PLEASE!!!
