My "britpart" lift pump has started leaking oil out of the bottom breather hole, WHY ??? has been ok , or is it a britpart thing.... just ordered a new one , not britpart by the way...

Well , paddock would say that , wouldnt they ? Seeing as they are a Britpart main dealer and sell rakes of the things .....I mean , where is the problem for them if the pumps fail quickly and they get to sell another ? Same with the water pumps

i had it as a spare which i carry just incase , fitted it 10,000 mile ago lol . paddock is handy for me its only up the road, but i seem to use them alot less now...

why dont you ask for a decent pump from paddocks or whoever ,britpart sell genuine ,branded as well as pattern

just ordered one on the net, paddock offered me a genuine one £113 lol....

Britpart are nothing but crap, The engineers I've spoken to at work say stay well clear,
