Injector part numbers

I've done a leak back test and number 2 and 3 are miles out. So i've been looking on line for replacements and i keep getting different part numbers.

Injectors 1,2 and 3 are stamped 0445110 130 and number 4 is stamped 0445110 049 which is for manual/auto (this was fitted by land rover 3 years ago)

On one hand STC4555 will fit auto and manual up to vin 3A3239591 and on the other that 8510027 is for auto's 2001 - 2003.

My vin is 3A241 on a 52 plate

Has anyone fitted stc4555 and had any problems, these are easily available and cheaper than the others

what have you manuel or auto there is a difference so I have been informed

Yep automatic injectors are alot more expensive i seem to remember.

Sorry forgot to say i have an auto, but there is a crossover where the STC4555 work.
As i said LR main dealers fitted one to mine 3+ years ago.

Manual Transmission - From VIN 1A577929 - 1st digit identifier of 3digit code on top of injector = C. Part STC4555


Automatic Transmission - From VIN 1A577929 to 2A239591 - 1st digit identifier of 3digit code on top of injector = C. Part STC4555


Automatic Transmission - From VIN 3A239592 onwards - 1st digit of 3digit identifier on top of injector = E. Part 8510027




Injectors with known issues have the build date August 2002 to December 2002. These would display the build date ; 28801 to 29231.

i replaced all 4 injectors last year, i did a search under rover 75 and found them to be quite a bit cheaper, fitted all 4 and runs great,

the manual says the ecu is suppose to be re-coded to the code on the injector, number found on the top of coil, apparently it adjusts settings to injector characteristics,
the auto are slightly different as they fuel more , i was tempted to try them to see if i could get a performance increase ?

look under rover 75 injectors , not landrover dont worry to much about the codes
