Centre Console rear 12V Lighter

Morning ,

Was wondering if anyone has for sale the rear 12V power socket that's attached to the centre console for sale , or can anyone tell me which models had them ?

mines a 2002 and got one fitted

breakers may be the best bet unless u wish to buy new and from the main dealer


I think possibly they were in the rear centre console from late 2001 ??

As above, they were in all the 2001 facelift models

I just bought a generic socket from CPC for a few quid, drilled the plate and connected up. Job done.

You can take the flap off.

my 2006 facelift did not have one I brought one from the steelers to match the colour and they might have a lighter in but they are really a power socket.

My 2006 'Freestyle' doesn't have one either

Managed t o source one .

The wiring is already under the cubby box, it has its own fuse and relay as it's rated at 20amp, the fag lighter is only 10amp

Nice one, thanks mate. In that case, being as Land Rover decided not to give me one then I'll have 3!! Just about to fit a triple one there, only need one really but got a 3 socket one laying around!

Er no.

My manual specifically shows that they were not - they were optional extras or only on some models. My top of te range 2004 auto doesn't have this feature. Neither dies it have the 'you are exceeding 120kmh' light.

And IIRC the facelift was in 2004, not 2001
