Discovery 3 TDV6 Tow hitch.

I don't tow hence I don't have a tow hitch for my 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6. I don't want to pay the high fees for a tow hitch that I intend to only use once. My problem and solution is to find someone that lives near me to lend me their tow hitch, I don't need the electrics, so that I can take it to France in July and bring it back the middle of August. I will give the lender a bottle of Armagnac for doing this.
Is there anyone out there that can help me please?
