Hello people i need help.

I have a stock 2001 td5 GS disco 5seat. Can anyone tell me if its possible to fit Cooper discoverer stt's without lifting it.. At the moment i have normal tires on, and they need to be replaced soon. They are 235/70/16.I cant find the stt's in this size but, i think they do them in a 235/85/16 and a 225/75/16 im not sure if they will fit under the wheel arch without having to lift it an inch or two. Does any one know if these sizes will fit to my disco, or if there are any other sizes i don't know of that will.

265/75-16 in an AT or "less" aggresive MT will fit (just) with maybe minor rubbing on front wheel arch liners. The STT's have a VERY large tread depth, just fitted 265/75 -16 STT's to mine, but its lifted 2" and they are CLOSE.....don't hit but aint a lot there with the factory bumper on, I had to trim the wheel arch liners down a little to. If you have factory side steps with mudflaps built in, then they would probably rub to.

235/85-16 is defender size, and is bigger than 265/75-16 so not likely to fit easliy without a lift

a Bigger size than standard would be 265/70-16 in an AT, or 245/75/16 in AT or MT and thats a nice size, looks balanced on a D2 without a lift.

thanks for the speedy reply. ive seen your website before, its helped me alot. I do have the factory side steps and mud flaps, is it possoble to remove them to improve ground clearance? Maybe the Stt's where a bit much for me atm. I think the discoverer ST's instead of the STT's should be fine. They do the ST in a 235/70/16. I would go for BfG A.T but.. ive heard bad things when it comes to the muddy stuff. Do you think the Discoverer st will be ok for all around 4 wheeling?
