hey all,

Can you please inform me of the bulbs that i would need to change my old dull & poor dash lights please ....

thanks all

there ****e dont bother wasting your money, Replace your old bulbs and you will not a huge difference. If there still very dull time to replace them, even new landrover gauges are dull i just bought a new genuine fuel gauge and it is brighter but not by much

Just try a higher wattage bulb.
I think as std they are 2 watt so try a 3 watt or a 5 watt, ive used some led dash bulbs in the past and they are not very good at all.

I used a higher wattage bulb when one blew in mine and definately noticed a difference, it's actually acceptable now!

i removed the green lens by grabbing it with long nose pliers till it snapped up and tipped it on the floor. Then glued the bulb housings to the back of the dash ! and now have white leds in and the clocks light up white now- much brighter (well till i took the dash apart last week)

hey there,

thanks for the info i guess LED is out of the question i will try a higher wattage bulb thanks again

I replaced my bulbs with led's, they do make a significant difference only 2 problems. First they only work one way so if it doesn't work first time turn it round, second despite what they say about x zillion hours life, they fail regularly. Maybe I got a duff lot but how do you know?
IIRC they are T10 wedge.
