Got a series 3 2.25 petrol and will be doing greenlaning with quite a few river crossings. anyone got any ideas on the best way to stop the dreaded water getting in where it shouldnt.

A rubber glove and sum elastic bands helps to protect your dizzy. Protect your radiator from mud etc. and a good squirt of WD40 never goes a miss

sell it and buy a diesel.

or buy a catering size can of wd40. plus a very large pot of vaseline.
and whilst you at the shoppe, get some big tall wellies or waders.

have fun.

aye. take plenty o sandwiches and a large flask o tea.
cause youll need em whilst waiting, in them deep puddles.

tdi rules, ok.

2.25 diesel all the way! toook mine through lake and grand canyon keeps chuggin! all though a little slow! If u stick wit metrol though sillicon round dizzy etc!

Fit a wading plug into the threaded hole in the bellhousing. Don't forget to take out when done else oil from box or engine will fill bell housing and spoil the clutch.

I keep my plug in a sandwich tin with sapre light bulbs and fuses.
