i've managed to pick up a top tailgate, the catflap type. (bargin £30 with van sides)

I've stripped it down and made repairs but i had to chuck the rubber seal at the base as it was ripped and perished and no use.
its the rubber bit sandwiched between two metal plates at seals the gap between the top and bottom tailgates.
tried to highlight it

I only have a series 3 catalogue and its not featured, perhaps is a 2 or 2a part.
does anyone know what is suitable to use for the part as i want to get it put back together next week.

also I've managed to lose all but 2 of the rubber shims from between the chassis and rear tub
the ones in this photo

can't find them in the parts book either.

hope someone knows
thanks

Edit:
actually while we're at it, i can't find the internal handle either if anyone know that part no. too?

Seal is 332143. Good luck finding one- I couldn't and ended up making one by halving a strip and glueing it together but wasn't happy with security so it now has ally z section instead.

Handle is 302207 and you will need spring (313493) and recess (320046) as well. (recess is possibly 320047 instead- not 100% sure)

Edit: those shims look like exhaust hanger rubbers to me.

that's a great help thanks. famous 4's site recognises them but all parts are on request so i'll ask.

the rubbers are smaller than hangers, they were in place on the floor mounts between the tub and chassis.
I did wonder if they were original parts as they have three holes and only need one.
mines also had new tub bars and a new rear chassis 1/4 in the past.

Also my left hand support is missing, does anyone know if this will support itself with just one or should i look at getting another?

I cut up an old rubber car mat to make insulating plates - The rear tub is sat on them and I've still got half a mat left. Cost me about a quid.
