Just idle boasting really & been meaning to post a pic for a couple of weeks!

Really pleased with the neatness of the job, especially the 165mm adjustable rubber grommet where it passes through the wing (a right find in the rainwater goods section of B&Q!). Yes, only one clamp, but it does feel rock solid.

Hmmm, not sure about the 'food processor' on the top, was really stupidly taken in by the sales blurb for that one! Might change it for something less obtrusive later!

Added the additional bonnet catches too as I'm paranoid about the bonnet (hood, Waldo, hood!) flying up when the going gets rough. Was in a Series II a few years back & that happened on the road, scared the living shiiite (oops, sorry Ming - If you're just hiding really - I meant "plop plops"! ;) ) out of me & ended up on the wrong side of the road by the time we came to a halt, don't ever want that to happen again!

Anyways, I'm sadly rather proud of myself. Just the new breathers to run up the side of it now.
 
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! quite nice old chap but why have you got an upturned coffe jug on top.
as for bonnets flying open how about this one. got me masser back from the paint shop , got to motorway and floored it, in about 6secs i was doing about 70ish and the bonnet flew open.aaaargghhhhhh!!!
managed to stop on hard shoulder, shut bonnet and drove back to paint shop with a demand they stop whatever they was doing and fix me bent bonnet. nice blokes that they are ,they did, even sprayed it for nowt.
 
Aww man, I knew I was going to take some stick for that top bit. Ha ha, coffee jug & streetlight are both new 'uns, but unfortunately equally apt descriptions! It is SOOOOO going!

Ouch, Slob! Guess bonnet catches won't look so good on the Mas'! Didn't it shaft the paint at all? Scarey ain't it?
 
Oh, I knew I shoulda taken the sodding thing off before taking the picture! I wish I had a witty retort, but, nope, just shouldn'ta bought it! Cost me bloody extra as well!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! Look, didn't I make a nice job of me snorkel? And wasn't I a **** for buying a...........Ha ha, goldfish bowl wins though. Actually, now I'm really tempted to keep it & hang a couple of rubber fish on the inside.............Oooo no, it might disturb the centrifugal force of the air..............Nah, sod it, it's staying & it's going to be ironicalated!

yes you did make a nice job of it? but did you really think you could get away with the bulbous thingy on top. you had to know you'd get some stick for it
 
Yep, & taken on the chin, just the way your mechanic likes her protein I'd guess...........But, sod the lot of ya', it's staying............Where can I buy small rubber goldfish? Now, I never thought I'd be posting THAT on a Landy forum............Even this one!
 
Actually, me hardtop's got no windows..........Now, there's a thought! Easy, I can feel a real stupid themed project Landy coming on!..........Like my Dennis the Menace themed GPZ 9.......With pop up "MENACE" brake light (stop light, Waldo, Stop light!)................!
 
Ha ha. Mr Yella, that is tops! That IS what I need, a bigger fishtank. Stop water ingress into your engine when wading..............by putting more in there before you begin! Oh, PMSWL & other nerdy internet abbr'!

It is SOOOOO staying, with some mod's.....Though that one might be a bit extreme!
