Hebden Bridge Today

I went down to Hebden today and saw a couple of classics.

The first was a blue Series II hardtop by Valet Stores with a 6" round worklight on the back, and the other was a green Series I going through Mytholmroyd and about to turn up Crag Road.

I've been told by a friend who still lives there that there is also a blue Series III in Heptonstall

Anyone on here?

I hope to bring me Fender down later this year and possibly meet up with anyone from there.

Maybe at the Cross in Heppy or the White Lion in Hebden.

Confirmed that I will be in HB on Tuesday, Wednesday and possibly Thursday next week (18th 19th & 20th)

Just got to sort out some oil for my diffs if they need it, pick up my spare from the tyre place and find out why the temp gauge has suddenly decided to go from mid to hot to mid to boil to mid ad infinitum!

Changedd the stat and can't get another sender until I get back ... should I risk it?

Booked my room at the Hare & Hounds in Wadsworth, a Timothy Taylor's pub which is a bonus, and a reasonable rate too!

I didn't know that they did accommodation, coz they didn't when a couple of my friends had it years ago!

Handy for me as well because it is just up the road from where my mother lives and she is the reason for me going there.

Thought about the White Lion in Hebden, but I didn't want to buy the place ... prices start at just under a hundred quid a night, and it was £35 last timeI stayed there!

Anyone fancy some proper real ale on Tuesday or Wednesday evening??
